It just takes a little time, Sometime!

It just takes a little time, sometime!...... and then suddenly you see a sweeping revolution. More and more people in lockups will soon have a snow ball effect....... and then their frustrated relatives will pour into streets.... protests may go violent..... Pakistanis are f***g unpredictable (one day, they let Imran Khan beaten up and go to jail; and next day same university students bring 2000 protesters in street in his favor .... heralding IJT to role their sleeping bags and get the hell out of there--seeing bad mood Jammat has started distancing from it's student leaders... so as not to loose their ground zero in Punjab University----f***g crazy). Keeping my fingers crossed to see when it happens. This is going to happen very soon if the emergency in Pakistan stays in place. And, if crowds role on to streets...... I believe Army will return to barracks for longtime. If that happens, then before everything gets back to normal, I bet the country will be destabilized for sometime..

You bet .... for long time

  • Thanks for the link, I have even read her article here

    http://www.latimes.com/news/opinion/la-oe-bhutto14nov14,0,2482408.story?coll=la-opinion-center

She is a good writer but alongwith rehtroic, she needs to put cause and effect together.

I believe BB's was as much hurt as Fatima Bhutto is. Those who attacked Benazir recently could have been behind that.... Did Benazir kill her own father... and the younger brother... Wait a minute there are so many conspiracies against entire Bhutto family.

Now talking about other leaders who could be champions of democracy, everyone has had deals with the Army, Nawaz, MMA, MQM (I can name on and on) were in fact the outcomes of Martial Law in Pakistan. In other words, Army made deals with them.

  • Just want to add to Fatima's commentary on the news channel. Fatima has a good access to media when all the good journalists are shut up and put behind the bars.

The constitutional amendment she is talking about would have allowed Nawaz as well to become a prime minister for the third time. In democracy only people decide who has the right to become a prime minister not the draconian piece of legislature. Not to mention that none ever served the whole term before they were thrown out undemocratically. So, what are we talking about … Democracy?
